A tram by the Chain Bridge

Getting Around

Travel by public transport and experience life like a local!

The Funicular Railway

Not keen on walking up the big hill? Then take the Funicular railway up the hillside and step out into the grounds of Buda Castle. The two Funicular carriages are linked so when one goes up the other comes down.

Ride the Tram

Wizz across the city on the yellow trams. You can even cross the Szabadság and Margit bridges on the tram, with the possibility of getting off to explore Margaret island in the middle of the river Danube.

Take the Metro

The quickest way to travel across the city is on the metro. Line 1 still features it's original station architecture

Hop on Hop off bus tours

Just as it says hop on and off the buses as you choose which attractions you would like to spend time at.
